Important information
SCHÜLE'S Health Resort & Spa in Oberstdorf is a state-approved private hospital in accordance with § 30 GeWo (Trade Regulation Act) and fulfills the requirements of § 107 SGB V (2) for the provision of inpatient medical treatment.
SCHÜLE'S Health Resort & Spa is recognized by the member health insurance associations for the provision of medical services for preventive care (Section 23 (4) SGB V) and rehabilitation (Section 40 (2) SGB V). A remuneration agreement in accordance with Section 111 (5) SGB V has not been concluded.
People covered by statutory health insurance can only be admitted to SCHÜLE'S Health Resort for rehabilitation as private patients. You can then have part of the costs reimbursed by your health insurance company, as all persons insured under statutory health insurance are generally free to choose between all nationally recognized inpatient rehabilitation facilities. However, this freedom of choice only applies if the statutory health insurance company—but not the accident or pension insurance company—is responsible for the rehabilitation treatment.
Inpatient follow-up treatments that are fully or partially covered by statutory health insurance cannot be carried out at our facility. Further important information and ways to access rehabilitation or spa treatments can be found in the Sanatorium and Spa section or in our information on the lowest daily rate. Please note that arrival for sanatorium spa treatments is only possible on Saturdays, Sundays, and Wednesdays.
