Whether really hot at 90 °C in the Finnish sauna, very gentle at 38 °C in the tepidarium or at almost 100% humidity in the steam bath - here you can sweat just the way you like it. Saunas are beneficial and healthy in many ways. It stimulates the metabolism and sweat production, promotes detoxification through the skin and has a positive effect on the respiratory tract and immune system.

An age-old feel-good recipe
Our classic Finnish sauna is approx. 56 m³ in size. Enjoy a sauna at a high temperature of between 90°C and 100°C and only 10% humidity.
Tepidarium
Warmth with a view
The tepidarium is a special feature of the large wellness area. Enjoy the warmth and the magnificent view of the mountains. Lean back and relax. The tepidarium is heated to a temperature of approx. 38°C, which corresponds to an artificial fever temperature. This allows the body to relax completely and stimulates and strengthens the immune system.
Diving pool

Cold, clear water refreshes and gets the circulation going. The beautifully designed pool invites you to dive in. A dip in the cold water refreshes the body and senses and is a natural part of a sauna session.

Royal moments for your soul
Enjoy a wonderful Kaiser bath in the wellness area of your health hotel. Relax in the most beautiful way! Let yourself be enchanted: Bathe in milk and honey in a copper tub, surrounded by warm light, fragrant aromas and an elegant ambience. Essential oils and natural essences nourish the skin and soothe the soul.
Oberallgäu hay bed
Feel the Allgäu
Dream in a very special bed. We only use Oberstdorf mountain meadow hay from Gerstruben for the hay bed. Aromas and alpine herbs have a positive effect on body and soul. Only once a year we “ghoibet” in Gerstruben. Grass, flowers and alpine herbs, natural and unadulterated, are mown and dried at 1,150 meters. We bed you in pleasant warmth on fresh alpine hay, where the aromas and scents of the alpine herbs unfold and soothe and relax your body and mind.
Steam bath
Beneficial for body, mind and soul
At 40 to 50°C and a humidity level of almost 100%, you can relax in SCHÜLE'S wellness area in a gentle and pleasant way. In the caldarium, steam mixed with eucalyptus or mint clears the airways, loosens mucus in the lungs and has a positive effect on your health. Regardless of the fragrance, a steam bath relaxes your muscles, unclogs your pores and makes for beautiful, soft skin.
Salt water grotto
Simply take a deep breath
As effective as a day at the seaside. The highly effective brine, with which the warm air in the room is enriched, clears the airways and also promotes healing processes in the skin. There is also a pleasant warmth emanating from the heated walls and seats.
Due to the evaporation of the water at the salt works, the air contains a lot of brine, which clears the upper respiratory tract and is effective against skin diseases. The room temperature in the brine grotto is approx. 22 to 24°C.
Aroma grotto
detoxifying, stimulating, calming
Mild radiant heat and essential oils: for greater well-being and against upper respiratory tract diseases. Make yourself comfortable, enjoy the view of the starry sky and let your mind wander to the sound of soothing music. The room temperature in the aroma grotto is approx. 22 to 24°C.

The spacious relaxation rooms offer you plenty of room to relax, a wonderful mountain view and a pleasant feel-good atmosphere. Here you will find space and time for rest and relaxation between your sauna sessions or treatments. Our juice and tea bar as well as fresh Oberstdorf water provide the perfect refreshment in between.
